What is the difference between dome cameras and bullet cameras?

Bullet cameras

Same as that of dome cameras, bullet cameras derive their name from their shape. They are cylindrical and look like a bullet. While dome cameras are not usually visible, bullet cameras can be easily noticed. The bullet cameras work best when they are installed around houses and offices to prevent someone from breaking into the building.

Benefits

  • Intruders will be scared-off by it
  • Bullet cameras have a full and long-range as compared to dome cameras
  • It can be easily installed without any inconvenience.

Disadvantages

  • No sharp video recording
  • The shape is a little unrequited
  • They are not as durable as a dome camera

Although both of them are effective, it is necessary to determine which one would suit your requirements the best. Under various circumstances, both the cameras can be used together to perform better.
